Announces 2024 RAMMY Awards Finalists
The capital region’s foodservice industry recognizes innovative individuals and concepts and companies as category finalists
Washington, DC (April 8, 2024)—Restaurant industry professionals and allies gathered this evening as the Restaurant Association Metropolitan Washington (RAMW) announced Finalists for the 2024 RAMMY Awards. Finalists will be recognized again and winners announced Sunday, July 21, 2024 at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center at the 42nd Annual RAMMYS Awards Gala, which honors excellence in the restaurant and foodservice industry in the Washington, DC area across a range of categories celebrating culinary concepts,service, and individuals.
The selection process for the Finalists, and ultimately the winners, involves two esteemed groups, the voting public and an anonymous panel of volunteer judges, consisting of food and dining journalists, educators, and foodservice industry professionals.
The voting public will decide the winners in five categories: Best Bar, Best Brunch, Favorite Fast Bites, Favorite Gathering Place, and Hottest Sandwich Shop of the Year. Public votes for these categories open 9:00 am, Tuesday, April 9, 2024, online at nbcwashington.com/RAMMYS, through 5:00 pm, Wednesday, May 31, 2024.

New Restaurant of the Year: A restaurant that must have opened between January 1, 2023 and December 31, 2023 and already distinguishes itself as a pacesetter in food, beverage and hospitality. The nominee must be a current member of RAMW.
